What to Limit
Eating Out While Traveling
- Choose curd rice, khichdi, French fries.
- Limit chaat, deep-fried pakoras, restaurant roti-sabzi, too much coffee/tea.
During Flights & Trains ✈️🚆
- Pre-order low-fiber meals or carry soft rotis, sabzi, dal, and curd in a leak-proof container. - Keep ORS or electrolyte drinks handy.
- Limit airplane food with heavy masala, fried items, excess dairy. - Reduce tea/coffee intake.
During Road Trips 🚗
- Choose idli, curd rice, mild dal-rice, soft paratha. - Carry homemade meals.
- Limit spicy chaat, samosa, fried pakoras, oily snacks. - Avoid street food with raw vegetables.
Before Traveling
- Carry homemade snacks like roasted makhana, bananas, curd, plain biscuits, khichdi in a tiffin. - Keep boiled cooled/mineral water, ORS solution, coconut water for hydration.
- Avoid unplanned outside food with excessive spices or oil. - Do not forget to carry enough fluids.
